Staff Management

Add team members, control what they can access, and track their sales.

Overview

Staff members can log into your shop using their phone number and a PIN code. You control exactly what each staff member can see and do through permissions.

Adding Staff

    Go to Staff → Add Staff

  2. 2

    Enter staff details

    Name and phone number (must be unique)

  3. 3

    Create a PIN code

    4-6 digit code the staff will use to log in

    Assign to a shop

    Staff can only access the shop they're assigned to

    Set permissions

    Choose what they can view and do

    Click Save

💡 Share Login Info

After creating a staff member, give them: (1) Shop Code, (2) Their phone number, (3) Their PIN. They'll use these at pos.yemame.com/staff-login

Staff Login Process

Staff members don't need their own accounts. They log in through a special staff portal.

How Staff Log In

  1. 1Go to pos.yemame.com/staff-login or click "Staff Clock In" on the home page
  2. 2Enter the Shop Code (e.g., SHOP-ABC123)
  3. 3Enter their phone number
  4. 4Enter their PIN code
  5. 5They're now clocked in and can access their allowed features

Permissions

Control exactly what each staff member can see and do. Here are some key permissions:

Add, edit, delete products

Adjust stock

Tip: For a basic cashier, enable just "Make Sales" and "View Products". For a manager, enable most permissions but restrict "Manage Staff" and "View Settings".

Managing Staff

Editing Staff

Go to Staff → click on a staff member → Edit. You can change their name, permissions, or shop assignment.

Resetting PIN

If a staff member forgets their PIN, edit their profile and set a new PIN.

Deactivating Staff

Toggle the "Active" switch to disable a staff member. They won't be able to log in until reactivated.

Tracking Sales

View sales by staff member in Reports → Staff Performance to see who sold what.
